  FROM  JAMILU SANI TSAFE The Zamfara state government has sponsored mass wedding of one hundred couples drawn from vulnerable groups across fourteen local government areas in the state Under Hisbah commission. Speaking at the occasion, the state Governor,  Dauda Lawal, represented by his deputy, Mani Malam Mumini (Masamar Mudi) reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting vulnerable citizens. Governor Lawal, who also served as the representative of the grooms, stated that, the government provided a dowry payment of two hundred thousand naira for each groom, and  each bride received fifty thousand naira to support small-scale trading activities in their matrimonial homes. The governor also presented marriage certificates and household items to the couples.
