YOUTH PARLIAMENT VOWS TO MAKE BREAK THROUGH IN FIGHT AGAINST BANDITRY IN ZAMFARA

A social group in Zamfara state "Zamfara State Youth Parliament" said it is ready to take bull by the horn and make a breakthrough in fighting insurgency to rid the state free of criminal activities

Speaker of the Parliament (group),   Hon. Abdulhamid Ibrahim made the statement at the  1st Zamfara Youth, Security and Peace Delegates' Conference, 2022 held in Gusau, the state capital.

The group's Speaker said the purpose of the Delegates Conference which encompassed all security operatives in the state was to brainstorm and  chart a way forward  to bring to an end, criminal activities negatively affecting the state.

Hon. Abdulhamid Ibrahim who described insecurity as a brain child of illiteracy, solicited the support and cooperation of security agencies and stakeholders in the state for the group to achieve its objectives.

While calling on youth  to go back to school  or further their education, appealing to government to create more job opportunities for the teaming  youth in the society.

In his remark at the summit, the Emir of Gusau, Dr. Ibrahim Bello represented by Alh. Danbuba Muhammad Gusau, said he was overwhelmed by the ideal decision of the group of taking part in fighting insecurity in the state and assured of his support to the group , so that its dream become s a reality.

In their respective speeches at the occasion, representatives of various security formations in the state,    gave words of encouragement to the Parliament and pledged their individual and collective support for it to achieve  its  target mark.
