Federal Road Safety Corp has Confirm the Dead of 9 people in an accident in Zamfara State.

In a Press Statement signed by the Sporksperson of FRSC Isah Aliyu, issued to the Journalists in Gusau, the State Capital.

According to the Statement, the accident occurred along Tsafe - Funtua route, in Unguwar acida Area of Tsafe local government.

Statement added that, The auto crash involving 20 people in two vehicles, a  TOYOTA HUMMER with registration number KRN349XA COMMACIAL Colour white. While the HOWO Trailer Green no Number plate.

“The victims who were evacuated by men of the tsafe FRSC unit,  the crash occurred around 940hrs,  was due to  wrongful over taking and speeding”


Isah Aliyu narrated that, Zamfara Sector Commender CC Aliyu Ma'aji, Express deep sorrow and sadness due to the lost of lives.

Aliyu Ma'aji  condole  the State  government and People of the State over lose, prayed Allah to grand them Paradise.

Ma'aji warned the motorist, against late travels,  overloading, and impatience, “drive with caution and be patient while on the roads”

Ma'aji  re iterates his intentions to establish a temporary help Area along fugus -tsafe road to ensure quick response to crashes, thanked all Stakeholders who rally round to rescue some RTC victims.

FMC Gusau re-affirms Commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital

By Ibrahim Ahmad The Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Gusau on Tuesday , reaffirmed its commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital for enhanced service delivery. The Medical Director of the FMC Gusau, Dr Bello Mohammed made the re-affirmation during the inauguration of a medical  “Common room” constructed by the centre’ s branch of the Nigeria Association of Resident Doctors (NARD).
