MAMMAN MAIDAMMA NA ALI FURFURI PASSES ON AT 102

   The death has occurred of a a prominent  farmer, Alh. Mamman Maidamma Na-Ali of Babban-Gida, Sabon Birni, Furfuri, Bungudu Local Government Area Zamfara state,


                     He died at his residence in Furfuri town, in the  early hours of Tuesday, November 16, 2021, following a prolonged illness,


                   Alhaji Mamman Maidamma Na-Ali died at the age of 102 years. He left behind, three wives, seven children and many grandchildren. 


Among his children are Alh. Garba Gaga and Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed Furfuri, a staff of the Federal College of Education(Technical), Gusau, who is currently serving as University Librarian at Sokoto State University.

FMC Gusau re-affirms Commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital

By Ibrahim Ahmad The Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Gusau on Tuesday , reaffirmed its commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital for enhanced service delivery. The Medical Director of the FMC Gusau, Dr Bello Mohammed made the re-affirmation during the inauguration of a medical  “Common room” constructed by the centre’ s branch of the Nigeria Association of Resident Doctors (NARD). In a Press Statement signed by the centre’ s Public Relation Officer, Dr. Naziru Tukur and made available to newsmen, said modalities have been put in place to ensure the actualisation of the upgrade. “The Federal University Gusau (FUGUS) currently offers five accredited medical programmes, with students already in 200 level” “The centre’s management has intensified efforts in providing critical infrastructure for teaching and learning at the facility,” the statement read.
