TEA AND BREAD SELLERS ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA SEEKS FG's RESCUE FROM COLLAPSE OVER ECONOMIC DOWNTURN

Tea and Bread Sellers Association of Nigeria, has appealed on the Federal Government to save it from collapse over economic tension confronting it.
President of Tea Sellers segment of the association, Alhaji Sha'aibu Abubakar and his counter part of Bread Sellers segment, Alh. Mansur Umar made the appeal in a phone call interview, saying that, the appleal became imperative considering that, issues raised by members of the association from various states across the country are worry some and discouraging.
They indicated that, as a result of economic hardship and business downturn members of the association found themselves, most of them could no longer afford to continue with their businesses, largely due to continued hike on prices of commodities, particularly sugar, yeast, flour etc.
The Presidents described the association's business as very popular worldwide, but expressed pessimism, that if the present condition persists, the business would likely become a history.
They said if the Federal Government can assist members of the association, it would be business as usual.
While calling on his members to withstand the present situation, Alh. Sha'aibu Abubakar and Alh Mansur Umar enjoined Nigerians to embark on massive prayers for quick restoration of peace and stability in the country for progress and development to triumph
. In their Separate Contributions , Zamfara State Chairmen of the associations, Alhaji Sani Magawata, and Alhaji Yusuf Usman, commended Zamfara state government for its efforts towards improving business activities in the state.
Both Chairmen Called on the state government to assist the association in whatever way possible for it to succeed, and called on all members to support government policies and programs for it to achieve its objective of delivering dividend of democracy to its citizens.
