ZMS Ministry for Agric to Partner with AFAN______Commissioner,

FROM Aliyu Buhari Gusau The Zamfara State Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources has pledged to partner and assist the All Farmers Association of Nigeria for the development of Agriculture in the state . This was Contained in a press statement sign by the public relation officer of the ministry, Malan Bashir abasiya, sayying that, the commissioner made this when executive members of all Farmers association paid him a courtesy call in his office in Gusau Alhaji Ibrahim jibo magayaki narrated that, All Farmers association of Nigeria is being an umbrella body of all Agricultural associations is a major stakeholder in the formulation and implementation of Agricultural policies in the country. He therefore promised to carry the Union along during his stay as commissioner for Agriculture. Alh Ibrahim jibo noted that, the present administration of Governor Bello Muhammad Matawallen Maradun, has demonstrated a renewed commitment in Agriculture by the recent visit in Turkey and signing of MOU with Agricultural Investors from the country, adding that, many Agricultural intervention programs will be introduce in the state to boast food production and employment generation to the youths, The commissioner therefore solicited for the support and cooperation from the association for them to succeed, Earlier speaking the State chairman of the association who double as commissioner for culture and tourism Alh Mohammad umar wamban Birnin magaji Explained that, they were in Commisioner office to congratulated him over the recent appointment, also brief him about the activities of the aassociation The chairman therefore solicited for the intervention from the ministry to regulate the activities of the private Anchor borrowers association in the state to prevent exploitation of farmers and ensure transparency in the conduct of the exercises. He applauded the effort and the commitment of the Honourable commissioner in managing the affairs of the ministry. The visit was attended by the permanent secretary of the ministry, Alh Ibrahim usman Dan Nabirgi, Executives and some members of the association.

Provost Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau, Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B. Oluwatoyin and her management team. Dr. Aminu Abdullahi of Federal Medical Center (FMC) Gusau made the revelation in a presentation tittle "Internal Brain drain Prons  and Cons in Security Challenge state,  The presentation was made at the Annual General Meeting and Scientific Conference organised by the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) FMC Gusau Chapter, held in Gusau.
