ZSUBEB ORGANIZES QUIZ COMPETITION FOR TECHNOLOGY, SCIENCE JUNIOR STUDENTS

            A quiz competition has been organised by   Zamfara State Universal Basic Education Board for science and technology based junior secondary/ primary schools students in the state.


               The board disclosed this in a press release issued to journalists  by its Public Relations Officer II, Malam Ibrahim Musa Maizare, in Gusau.


                According to the statement,  the quiz was organised to groom  the participating students in the state  ahead of the forthcoming zonal quiz competition scheduled to take place in Kano State.


  "The statement added, that  the quiz competition would henceforth be sustained as an annual event which will emanate from inter classes, inter schools and inter zonal competitions levels".


      The  Executive Chairman of the board,  Alhaji Abubakar Aliyu Maradun, who spoke through the Permanent Member 1  of the board, Alhaji Abubakar Abdullahi Maradun, commended  the efforts of the organising committee  for providing  enabling environment for the participants to demonstrate their talents, and  advised them not to relent in improving  the capacity of science and technology  students.



  The statement  maintained, that at the end of it all,   Gusau zone emerged  the overall  winner of the competition,  followed by Talatar Mafara and Kaura Namoda zones, respectively.

Provost Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau, Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B. Oluwatoyin and her management team. Insecurity: Zamfara hospitals surfer brain drain - Doctor call rescue

Dr. Aminu Abdullahi of Federal Medical Center (FMC) Gusau made the revelation in a presentation tittle "Internal Brain drain Prons  and Cons in Security Challenge state,  The presentation was made at the Annual General Meeting and Scientific Conference organised by the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) FMC Gusau Chapter, held in Gusau.
