Zamfara Flagg off Qur,anic Recitation Competition To Select Candidates For African Recitation Competition In Ghana

Zamfara State has Glagg - off the Selection Qur,anic reciters who would represent the state into the forthcoming African Quranic recitation competition hold in Ghana.
The programme held at Universal Basic Education Board Training Center Gusau the state Capital.
In his Speech chairman of the Quranic competition, Malam Nura Bello Alkali Talata-Mafara Explained that, six countries would participate in the competition, which included Nigeria Senegal, Burkina Fasso, Chad, Niger, and Ghana.
The Chairman Further said that, eight states of the federation were selected for the competition where three participants would be selected from each state who would went to Ghana for the competition, the States included, jigawa, kwara, Sokoto, Zamfara, Plateau, Oyo, Kebbi, and Kano.
Malan Narrated that, 50 participants drawn from various schools across the state were currently participating in the competition stressing that “only three of them would be selected to go to Kano and finally to Ghana, adding that, the competition would be concluded next Monday, urging the participants to do their best in order to be among those to represent the State
In his addressed, Malan Bashir Isah Gusau advised the judges to be fair Allah in their judgement and avoid being partial, calling on the Participants to good ambassadors were ever they found themselves.
In her Speech hajiya Jamila Musa Kanoma, urge the Participants to more efforts while in the competition, also called to be good ambassadors.
