ZAMFARA ZAKAT BOARD RECORDS MILESTONE AS OVER 11,720 PERSONS BENEFIT FROM ZAKAT, ENDOWMENT.

Within the last quarter of 2021, zamfara zakkat and endowment Board said tremendous achievements were recorded.
Executive chairman of the board, sheikh Abubakar ibn sodangi Gusau disclosed this during a quarterly meeting with of the board and distribution of valuable items, facilities and physical to deserving citizens in the state.
According to sheikh sodangi varied assistance to sets of people most of whom are internally Displaced persons, physically challenged, orphans victims of banditry, poor families and the vulnerable ones.
He said the assistance the board provides is in different dimensions taking place daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly in the state.
Sheikh sodangi narrated that six month after assuming duty as the Executive chairman of the board, 11, 723 persons drawn from 17 respective Emirates in the state benefit from the board's gesture.
He noted,that areas being considered in giving the assistance covered IDPs , education, health, emergencies, business, medication, settlement, of failed loans, orphans,/ orphanages, transportation, shelters and community development.
For people with health issues sheikh sodangi said, 5, 590 persons receiving medication or medical attention various hospitals and other 2, 120 out of hospital patients were assisted.
He further said 3,150 persons with emergency cases got assistance 415 others with shelter ( those rent) issues were rescued, while 335 business men and women who had issues with their businesses were helped.
On education the chairman state that the board within the last quarter of 2021, assisted 518 persons studying in various schools and institutions within the state, across Nigeria and ln some neighboring states such the Republic of Niger, Benin , Mali etc.
He further noted that 150 people who lack shelter or failed to fix their houses right took share of the assistance, 126 others who could not oblige to loans got help, 153 with general problems helped.while each day, #20,000 cash assistance every day.
More so, sheikh Abubakar ibn sodangi Gusau said 50 wheel tricycles were procured by the board with the time framed and distributed them to 200 physically challenged persons across the state.
He added that other beneficiaries included 168 people with brain distortion, 20 islamiyya schools, mosque and other Islamic centers as well as various assistance
given to distressed travellers and 10 vulnerable communities in the state.
According to him the board within last hours of 2021, had secured five houses ,one plot of land one mosque one school and one hospital.
He further narrated that, the board received domestic animals whose proceeds we're converted into use, while 21 returned back to owners when identified.
Most importantly, sheikh sodangi disclosed that the board releases a collosal amount of #544,000 reach month to its owned orphanage Hospital located at unguwar yarima areas, Gusau the state capital.
Sheikh sodangi, commended the state government and its MDAs for supporting the board to discharge its activities smoothly.
He thanked all meaning citizens of the state who cooperate and assist the board accordingly, and prayed to Allah to reward them.
He urged wealthy and the rich in the state to invest for the Heat after by giving what is due ti the board for onwards distribution to needy persons.
In another development, during the programme over 99 less privileged received the gesture cash #100,000, # 70,000# ,60,000# 50,000 #40, 000 #30,000 and #20, 000 respectively.
Who has problems in Health, Education, Rent, loans, building, business.and etc
All with view to reduce the hardship among the society.
In remarks, the secretary of the board malan sani Hamza Kaura , called on the beneficiaries use the gesture properly for self reliant and also prayed for present administration for restoration of peace and stability in the state
Among those who graced the occasion include, sheikh Umar kanoma , special Adviser to in the board, Hon yahaya Aliyu maradun, board's directors etc
