The Chairmanship aspirant of Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics  (ASUP),    Abdu Gusau Polytechnic Talata Mafara Malan Murtala Muhammad jangebe,  said that,  the  union  can never be a tool for personal and selfish goals of any highly or lowly placed member.

This was Contained in a press Statement Sign by the Public Relation officer who doble as HOD Mass Communication Abdu Gusau Polytechnic, Malan Aliyu Damri, issued to the journalist in Gusau.


The Statement Said that, Chairmanship aspirant of Academic Staff  Union of Polytechnic, Abdu Gusau Polytechnic Talata Mafara,  Malan  Murtala Muhammad Jangebe, made this statement  during his  manifestations  held  at the staff common room of the Polytechnic.

"ASUP under my watch will be transparent, accountable, a tool to correct mistakes and abnormalities, a tool to study situation on ground with a view to provide possible remedies" Malan Murtala promised.

"if  I elected as  ASUP Chairman I  will improve the welfare of the members and expressed concern on level of payment engagement with NEC and ZEC promising to study the situation carefully and take corrective measures" Murtata Maintained.

The Statement further said that,  the Election Committee chairman,  Malan Abubakar Sadiq Isah Gora expressed excitement on the conduct of  manifestations, assured members of the Union of his committee's readiness for elections.

Provost Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau, Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B. Oluwatoyin and her management team. Dr. Aminu Abdullahi of Federal Medical Center (FMC) Gusau made the revelation in a presentation tittle "Internal Brain drain Prons  and Cons in Security Challenge state,  The presentation was made at the Annual General Meeting and Scientific Conference organised by the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) FMC Gusau Chapter, held in Gusau.
