FG Constructed 1.5 kilometer access road at FC(E)T Gusau

The Federal Government has Constructed 1.5 kilometer access road  to the Federal College of Education  Technical. Gusau, under the Federal Government Intervention of FCeT’s Internal Roads through the Ministry of Works and Housing.

This was  Stated by the  Minister of work Babatunde Raji Fasola, who was represented by Controller of the  Ministry  engineer Hasan Muhammad  Isah during a Commission of the road at Institution, said that, the aim of the project was to provide a conducive atmosphere for both teaching and learning for the college.

Engineer Hassan Explained that, with the completion of the FC(e)T Gusau access road, the federal government has successfully intervened in the internal road networks of 46 tertiary federal institutions and handed over 29 as at 2021, adding that, “And we now have another 17 ready to be handed over.

Engineer  hasan  further  said that, Federal Government  currently attending to 30 roads in similar institutions across the country making the total of 76.

In his remarks the State Governor  Muhammad Bello Matawalle who was represented by his deputy Senator  Hassan Muhammad  Nasiha, Commended the Federal  Government  for the  Construction,  calling on Management of  the institution  to utilize the road judiciously, assured of more support,  cooperation and assistance  to the institution when the need arise. 

In his Speech the provost of the  institution, Dr, Umar thanked the federal government for the  Construction and assured to utilize the road judiciously, also Commended the state government under the  leadership of Governor  Matawalle for his support. Cooperation and assistance to the institution,  calling on him to keep it up.
