ZAMFARA MINISTRY OF HUMANITARIAN DISTRIBUTED 174 TRAILERS.

    The Zamfara state ministry of humanitarian and disaster management has distributed one hundred and seventy four trailers of food items last year.

    This was disclosed by the commissioner of the ministry, Hajiya Faika M Ahmad,  while briefing the State Deputy Governor about the activities of the ministry, when the management of the ministry paid him a congratulatory visit in his office.

     The commissioner said, "since the inception of the Directorate before the executive Governor upgraded it to the ministry, we are doing  humanitarian and disaster activities to the society which include, distributing food to the IDPs, lessprivilages, humanitarian services and fire out break assistance".she lamented.

   Hajiya Faika added that,  even now, the ministry sign the memorandom of understanding with one non governmental organization 'Muslim Soccur' which they are going to dig three hundred bohols in the state.

  She therefore, expressed the ministry gratitude over the maximum support, cooperation and man power given to the ministry by the state governmeent.

     In his speech,  the Zamfara state Deputy Governor,  Senator Hassan Muhammad Gusau, thanked the management for the visit, and assuared the state government rediness in continue works with the ministry.

   He added that, the state government will use the ministry during  this year Ramadan feeding and called to the commissioner of the ministry to create a program that will educate people about their activities.

Provost Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau, Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B. Oluwatoyin and her management team. Dr. Aminu Abdullahi of Federal Medical Center (FMC) Gusau made the revelation in a presentation tittle "Internal Brain drain Prons  and Cons in Security Challenge state,  The presentation was made at the Annual General Meeting and Scientific Conference organised by the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) FMC Gusau Chapter, held in Gusau.
