Zamfara Committee of investigating two suspended Emirs present their report

The Zamfara State Committees of investigating alleged involvement of suspended Emirs of Zurmi and Dansadau in banditry activities have summitted there report.
Speaking upon receiving the reports from the two committees, the State Acting Governor, Senator Hassan Muhammad Gusau, thanked the respective memberships for a good job done and assured of the State's determination to implement given recommendations to the latter.
Senator Hassan Gusau stressed the State Government's readiness to deal with anybody, no matter how highly placed in the society, found wanting in scuttling the efforts exerted for restoration of relative peace and security in the State.
The Acting Governor also called on the general public to help themselves by assisting the constituted authority with a prompt reporting on any strange movement of individuals and groups for appropriate action.
He further reaffirmed Matawalle's placing of government's weight on priority attention to security of lives and properties of the citizenry at all times.
Speaking earlier on behalf of the two committees, the Chairman responsible for the investigation of the involvement Emir of Zurmi in the alleged misdeeds of banditry, Hon Commissioner for Security Affairs, Alhaji Mamman Ibrahim Tsafe, thanked the State Governor for allowing them to serve in the committees.
Adding that, they put in appropriate strategies by using the already existing terms of reference provided to committees before they finally came up with reports on their findings and workable recommendations for implementation by the State Government.
In attendance are, the Secretary to the State Government, Head of Service, Chief of Staff, Honourable Commissioners, Members of the State House of Assembly, Special Advisers, Permanent Secretaries and Directors General, among many others.
