Zamfara : Over Twenty Bills Passed into Law in Three Years

People of the Zamfara state have been commended for their kindness, resilience, support and prayer to the present administration under the leadership of Governor Bello Muhammad (Matawallen Maradun). 

This was Contained in press Release Sign by the Public Relation officer of House, Mallam Nasir Usman Biyabiki and made available to the journalist in Gusau.

According to the press release the commendation was made by the Speaker State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Nasiru Muázu Magarya (Shettiman Zurmi, Jarman Moriki) in a special message to the people of the State after closing the house for 2022 (Third session) end of the year recess of the State 6th Assembly.

The Speaker said the achievements so far recorded by both the executive and legislative arms of government must be attributed to the overwhelming support enjoyed from the public across the state. 

“The press release further said that, Speaker called on people of the state for more support and prayers from all and sundry as it will definitely help in moving the state to the promised land”


“The State house of Assembly  passed over twenty people oriented bills into law, others are presently before various committees for further legislative process and many resolutions were sent to the executive for implementation”

Speaker thanks the entire Hon. Members and the Staff of the house for their unwavering support and cooperation described it as the basis of his achievements. Within the three years of his leadership as the Speaker.

Magarya  reiterates their determined resolve to justify the mandates of their constituents, saying that, a committee will soon be set to review the legislative agenda for a better service delivery. 

“Our fundamental responsibilities of law making, oversight and representation will remain our guiding principles in this respect”  Magarya added.

Magarya sympathized with the victims of the recent bandit’s attacks in some areas of the state, called on people of the state for more prayers of restoring peace and stability in the state.

Provost Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau, Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B. Oluwatoyin and her management team.
