Zamfara State Government has approved the Delegate's on 2022 Hajj Exercise

This is to inform the general public that His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Zamfara State, Hon. Bello Mohammed Matawalle, MON (Shatiman Sokoto), has approved the appointment of Rt. Hon. Nasiru Mu'azu Magarya, Speaker Zamfara State House of Assembly, as Amirul Hajj and Leader of Government Delegation for 2022 Hajj operation. 


His Excellency has also approved appointment of the following as members of the delegation: 


i.  Hon. Farouk Musa Dosara;

ii. Alh Abubakar S/Pawa Dambo;

iii. His Highness Bello Muhd Barmo, OON, 

Emir of Mafara; 

iv. Sheikh Ahmad bin Umar Kanoma;

v. Alh. Babangida Abubakar (Madawakin Anka); 

vi. Alh. Musa Ibrahim Yau; 

vii. Hajiya Asiyatu Suleiman (Women Leader); and 


viii. Garba Ahmed Gusau, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works and Transport, as Secretary of the Delegation. 


The appointment takes immediate effect.

FMC Gusau re-affirms Commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital

By Ibrahim Ahmad The Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Gusau on Tuesday , reaffirmed its commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital for enhanced service delivery. The Medical Director of the FMC Gusau, Dr Bello Mohammed made the re-affirmation during the inauguration of a medical  “Common room” constructed by the centre’ s branch of the Nigeria Association of Resident Doctors (NARD). In a Press Statement signed by the centre’ s Public Relation Officer, Dr. Naziru Tukur and made available to newsmen, said modalities have been put in place to ensure the actualisation of the upgrade. “The Federal University Gusau (FUGUS) currently offers five accredited medical programmes, with students already in 200 level” “The centre’s management has intensified efforts in providing critical infrastructure for teaching and learning at the facility,” the statement read.
