Zamfara State Governor Matawalle Mourns Demise of Alhaji Ibrahim Nabature Nahuche

Zamfara State Governor, Hon Dr. Bello Muhammad Matawallen Maradun has described the death of a great politician and pillar in the political development of the State, Alhaji Ibrahim Nabature Shettiman Nahuche as  monumental to the State and Nigeria.

This was Contained in Press Statement Sign by the Press Secretary office of the Zamfara state Governor, Mallam Jamilu Illiyasu Birnin Magaji issued to the journalist in Gusau.

According to press Statement, Governor Matawalle expressed shock when he received the devastating news of the departure of Nabature Nahuche, saying that, it plunged him and the state Government into a sad mood of sober reflection.

The Statement Explained that, Governor Bello Matawalle is among the eminent personalities and thousands of Muslim faithful that, attended the funeral prayer of late Nabature Nahuche, described the deceased as an inspiration in the political development of Zamfara State, a community leader, supporter, and philanthropist per excellence.


“The Matawallen Maradun said this loss is a great vacuum created in the political arena of our dear state,  adding that his contribution to the development of  the State, will live on and would remain indelible in the minds of people of Nahuche, Bungudu local Government and the state in general”

“Government and people of Zamfara State enjoined people of Nahuche town to consider the death as an act of Almighty Allah which is bound to happen to each and every one of us and always offer special prayers for forgiveness to his gentle soul”

He prayed Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased of all his shortcomings and grant his family members, people of Nahuche town the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

“Late Nabature died at the age of 70, leaving behind 4 wives, 24 children, and many grand children”

The funeral prayer of the deceased was attended by the State Deputy Governor Senator Hassan Muhammad Nasiha Jarman Gusau, Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Rt Honourable Nasiru Muazu Magarya,  Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Kabiru Balarabe, Chief of Staff Government House, Gusau, Malam Ibrahim Suleiman, 

Others Included, State APC Chairman, Alhaji Tukur Umar Danfulani,  Honourary Adviser to the Governor, Dr Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi, former APC chairman in the state, Alhaji Lawal M Liman, politicians, Commissioners, Special Advisers, Senior Government functionaries,  businessmen, Islamic scholars and people from all walks of Life.
