ZMSG Applaud All Farmers Association AFAN for Promoting Agriculture

       Zamfara state government under the leadership of Governor Bello Muhammad (matawallen Maradun) has already applyed possible strategies to restore peace and security in all parts of the state to enable people to fully engaged in this year's farming activities without any disturbance.

     The State Deputy Governor, Senator Hassan Muhammad Gusau, stated this while responding to a congratulatory visit paid him by members of the All Farmers Association of Nigeria who paid him a congratulatory visit over his present position as the state deputy chief executive.

     Senator Hassan Muhammad Gusau described the roles of AFAN play in promoting agricultural and farming activities particularly in Zamfara State as very important for the sustenance of is socio-economic development, considering the ranking of its communities as predominantly farmers, hence on which the state takes its pride.

     He therefore, called on the AFAN leadership to ensure being connected with the federal government to facilitate special schemes aimed at providing grants and financial support to enhance agriculture for the benefit of our local farmers in the venture upheld as the mainstay of the State economy.

     Earlier speaking, the Chairman Zamfara State branch of AFAN Hon Muhammad Umar (Wamban Birnin Magaji) said they were at the Deputy Governor's residence to congratulate him over his appointment as Deputy Governor by the State Executive Governor Dr,  Bello Muhammad (Matawallen Maradun).

    Ahmad Umar said, with the personality of Distinguished Senator Hassan Muhammad in that position, the grassroots political climate in the State had completely changed for the better, being transformed to a positive atmosphere.

    He also assured the State Government of all farmers' support for the success of the administration, also informed the Deputy Governor that they would work tirelessly in the forthcoming 2023 general elections towards electing Governor Matawalle for the second time.
