APC Women Professional Council to Empower 5000 Women in Zamfara State

The Zamfara state All Progressive Congress, (APC ) Women Professional Council has promised to Empower 5000 Women in the State.

This was Contained in a press released sign by the public Relation officer of Zamfara state Ministry for Women and Children affairs, Mallam Suleiman Isah, Issued to the journalists in Gusau the state capital.

According to Press released, the State Coordinator of the Council, Dr. Barira Ibrahim Bagobiri, made the disclosure in Gusau while commenting on the just concluded inauguration ceremony of the National and State Executives of the Council at the National Merit Award Center abuja.

Coordinator Dr. Barira Bagobiri noted that, much deliberations were made as regards to ways women's contributions in building democracy, and to secure a lot of political opportunities to women in the country.

"We believe with APC leadership in the country, we have confidence in Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Presidential Candidature, he is capable of moving the country to the next level" Dr. Barira Bagobiri said.

"Very soon, we are going to come up with programme to train 5000 women across the 14 Local Government areas of  the state, in various skills, for them to become self reliant, Dr. Barira added.

“We are ever ready to support the APC  President Candidature, Governors, among all APC Candidates in the state, and Federation a head of  2023 general elections” 



"We are going to organize a door to door campaign to Women, to ensure success of Tinubu/Matawalle 2023 Presidential and Governorship general Election,  adding that, “Our mission is to ensure total victory of Tinubu to be the next President of Nigeria and Governor Matawalle to be the governor of Zamfara state for the second term”

"The Council will soon embarked on house to house campaign on voter's education exercise to women across the state.

Dr. Barira Bagobiri Explained that,  the Voters Education Campaign is aimed at educating women in the state, on how to obtain their Permanent Voters Cards, in order to exercise their civil rights during the 2023 general elections.
