The Rector of Abdu Gusau polytechnic T/Mafara  Dr. Sha'ayau Shehu Mafara (Turakin Mafara)  has appointed the Comarede Uzairu Umar Maru as the Acting (HOD) Maths and Statistics of the  institute. 

This was Contained in a press release Sign by the Public Relation officer of the institute, who double as the HOD Mass Communication, Mallam Aliyu Damri issued to journalist in Gusau.

According to Press released, the Rector of institute, said that, the appointment of  Dr, Uzairu Umar Maru is Base on his performance, dedication, hard work, and Commitment to the institute,

Dr. Sha'ayau Shehu Mafara, Discribed the appointment of Dr. Uzairu Umar Maru is well deserve, and welcome development to the Institute and the Department of Math and Statistics,  urged the newly appointed acting head of department to carry out his duties with fear of Allah.

Dr. Sha'ayau Shehu Mafara noted that, the Tenure will Last of a  period of two years,

Provost Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau, Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B. Oluwatoyin and her management team. Dr. Aminu Abdullahi of Federal Medical Center (FMC) Gusau made the revelation in a presentation tittle "Internal Brain drain Prons  and Cons in Security Challenge state,  The presentation was made at the Annual General Meeting and Scientific Conference organised by the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) FMC Gusau Chapter, held in Gusau.
