Zamfara Medical out reach in bungudu local government area of the state has recorded a tremendous success.
This was made by the State Deputy Governor, Senator Hassan Muhammad Jarman Gusau while flagging up the programme at the Bungudu Emir's palace.
The Deputy Governor expressed satisfaction with the level of people's turn out to receive the free medical care as organised by the Zamfara State Government in collaboration with the Pharmaceutical Council of Nigeria “targeting over five thousand beneficiaries”
According to the Deputy Governor, the present administration under the leadership of Governor Bello Matawallen Maradun was able to succeed in renovating and equipping the General Hospital Bungudu, construction of eleven Primary Health Care Centers and providing them with ambulances to ease the transportation of patients, “State Government has directed the State Ministry of Health to recruit health care personnel's of all categories to ensure effective service delivery.
“When i was the Senator, “I am the championed in implementation of different capital projects in my constituency, ranging from the provisions of portable drinking water, construction of Islamiyya schools, a number of blocks of classrooms and drainages, among other important developmental projects” Nasiha said.
Senator Nasiha noted that, the State Government is looking at possible opportunities of extending the medical outreach to other local government areas for the benefit of all people suffering from different diseases, called on the general public to continue supporting the government policies and program.

Speaking at the occasion, the Chairperson of the program, Dr. Fatima Abdullahi, gave an analysis of what has transpired in the last two days of the exercise in Tsafe and Gusau Local Government Areas.
Dr, Fatima narrated that, the Bungudu Local Government exercise is the third one, “the medical team and all health care officials would continue to improve their services, as no patient will be left unattended" She said.
“The Medical Consultant expressed appreciation for the level of contributions and support accorded to the programme by the present administration under the leadership of Governor Bello Matawalle, especially in delegating the State Deputy Governor Dr. Hassan Muhammad Jarman Gusau to ensure the success of the whole programme” Dr. Fatima added.
