Zamfara State Police has Succefully arrested a Notorious Kidnapper for Offences of Armed Robbery, Illegal Possession of Prohibited Firearms and Gun Running 

This was Stated by the Police Public Relation office of Zamfara Police Command SP Muhammad Shehu in a Press Conference.

According the PPRO, the Police Arrested of  Notorious Kidnapper,  also  Ex - Corpral  Sa'idu  Lawal 'M' recovered 1 AK-47 Rifle Breech No. Q971987, 1 AK-49 Rifle Breech No. 34-7094, 200 7.6mm Rounds of Live Ammunition, 501 7.62X51mm Rounds of GPMG Live Ammunition, 8 Empty Magazines.


“The arrest of the above named suspect who was an Ex-service personnel of the Nigeria Army attached 73 Battalion Janguza Army Barracks Kano State” 

“The suspect was intercepted with a Pontiac Vibe vehicle with registration number KRD 686 CY Lagos, along Abuja – Kaduna enroute Zamfara State. Search was conducted on the spot and the above mentioned exhibits were recovered in his possession”

“The suspect confessed that, he was to convey the said exhibits from Loko LGA of Nasarawa State to his customer one Dogo Hamza ‘M’ of Bacha village in Tsafe LGA of Zamfara State. also the suspect further confessed that, he had previously supplied same consignment to his other customers in Kaduna, Katsina, Niger and Kebbi States respectively.

“Discreet investigation is in progress with a view to arresting his partners of this dastardly crime”

Provost Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau, Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B. Oluwatoyin and her management team. Insecurity: Zamfara hospitals surfer brain drain - Doctor call rescue

Dr. Aminu Abdullahi of Federal Medical Center (FMC) Gusau made the revelation in a presentation tittle "Internal Brain drain Prons  and Cons in Security Challenge state,  The presentation was made at the Annual General Meeting and Scientific Conference organised by the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) FMC Gusau Chapter, held in Gusau.
