Zamfara Commissioner of Police Decorates 19 Newly Promoted Officers (DSPs - SPs)

Zamfara State Commissioner of Police Ayuba N. Elkanah, Psc(+) Decorates Nineteen Newly Promoted officers (DSp - SPs).

This was Contained in a press Released Signed  by the Police Public Relation Officer SP Muhammad Shehu, Issued to the Journalists in Gusau.




According to the  Press Released CP Ayuba N. Elkanah psc(+) has tasked  the newly promoted officers in the Command to put more commitment and professionalism in the discharge of their duty, and to justify the gesture done to them by the Inspector General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, psc(+), NPM, fdc.

“The Commissioner of Police who was assisted in the decorations by the DC Operations, DCP Dauda Mamman psc, and DC Department of Finance and Administration, DCP Olugbenga Adepoju, psc, mnips, congratulated the newly promoted officers and charged them to reciprocate the gesture by being committed to their responsibility”




“CP further thanked  the Inspector General of Police,  Police service Commission for the promotion and other welfare initiative to officers and men of the Nigeria Police, adding that, CP will go a long way in boosting the morale the personnel and enhancing their service delivery”


Among the officers promoted includes,


1. SP Sadiq Umar, O/C Highway Patrol,

2. SP Sadiq Mohammed, staff officer senior (SOS), 

3. SP Babangida Abubakar, P&G OPs, among others.







In his Vote of thanks on behalf of other promotees, SP Babangida Abubakar  expressed  appreciation to the IGP and Police service commission for the promotion, and promised  to reciprocate the gesture through hard work , commitment and in line with professional ethics and international best practices. The decoration ceremony was attended by members of the management team, other senior Police officers of the command.

Zamfara NSCDC Hosts Acting Provost FCET Gusau

Provost Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau, Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B. Oluwatoyin and her management team. Insecurity: Zamfara hospitals surfer brain drain - Doctor call rescue

Dr. Aminu Abdullahi of Federal Medical Center (FMC) Gusau made the revelation in a presentation tittle "Internal Brain drain Prons  and Cons in Security Challenge state,  The presentation was made at the Annual General Meeting and Scientific Conference organised by the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) FMC Gusau Chapter, held in Gusau.
