Zamfara Intending Pilgrims with 2022 Hajj Deposit to be Considered First in 2023 Hajj Exercise

Zamfara State Hajj Commission will give much emphasis on the intending pilgrims with 2022 Hajj Deposit in the coming 2023 Hajj Exercise.

This was Contained in a press Released Sign by the Public Relation officer 2 Mallan Bello Musa Sidi Magami and Made available to the Journalists in Gusau the State Capital.


According to the Press Released,  The Executive Chairman  State Hajj Commission Alhaji Lawal Isah Abdullahi gave the assurance while  briefing  Journalists in his office Gusau.

Alhaji Lawal Isah Abdullahi said  intending pilgrims with 2022 Hajj deposited  but not performed this year's Hajj Exercise would first be considered in the registration of 2023 Intending Pilgrims.

“Alhaji Lawal Isah  called on them to remain calmed for not being able to participate in the 2022 Hajj as it was as a result of hajj seat shortage not only for Zamfara but also affects all Nigerian States and world in general”

“He therefore commends them for the maturity and understanding shown in regards to the Incident, saying that, is like  tomorrow 2023 hajj is going to Hold.

 ”Intending pilgrims interesting to collect their hajj deposit can apply through the commission for the refund as soon as the commission commences hajj fares refund” Alhaji Lawal Isah noted.

Alhaji Lawal Isah advised them not to collect all their Hajj Deposit with a view to maintaining their position in the 2023 hajj registration for them to be first category when hajj registration commences.

The chairman thanked all hajj stakeholders especially Zamfara State Governor Dr Bello Muhammad Matawallen Maradun for the support and financial commitment rendered for the commission in this year's Hajj Exercise.

He also commends the efforts made by the Zamfara State Amirul Hajj Committee led by the Speaker Zamfara State House of Assembly Alhaji Nasiru Mu'azu Magarya and Members of his Committee over the exercise which attributes successful conduct of 2022 hajj registration.

Katukan Kurya then thanks all the security agencies, media organizations, First AID groups, KTA, HISBA, Women Civil societies organizations , Hajj commission permanent Commissioners, part time members, Commission's Directors, staff, Islamic orgaizations and Islamic scholars as well as individuals for their commitments and contributions to the success of this year's Hajj exercise.

He particularly commends National Hajj Commission NAHCON for its kind gesture done for the commission in the exercise and assured proper planning in the coming 2023 hajj operation.

Speaking shortly after the briefing leader of Zamfara Radio Hajj Ibadatulla Crew Malam Ibrahim m Umar Gidan tsika thanked the commission for the support given to Journalists, and appealed to the commission to re- considere them.
