Nigerian ambassador to the Republic of India has assuared to mobilize foreign investors to Zamfara State
This was Contained in a press statemant signed by the Director General press affiairs office of the state Deputy Governor, Comrad Babangida Umar Zurmi.
According to the statement the assurance was give by the Nigerian Ambassador to the Republic of India His Excellency Ahmad Sule while receiving the Zamfara State Deputy Governor Senator Hasan Muhammad Nasiha and his entourage at Nigeria High Commission India.
Senator Hassan Muhammad Gusau, said they were at Republic of india for a primary assignment said, “the visit is aimed to hold discussion with relevant investors in different sectors of the economy for their possible mobilization to Zamfara State”
“Zamfara is highly blessed with abundant deposits of solid minerals resources that, are untapped, added that, the solid minerals and other valuable natural resources can be utilized in collaboration with the approval of the Federal Government of Nigeria with the partnership of expertise from the Indian economy for the benefit of all Nigerians” Nasiha said
Senator Gusau also enumerated some key sectors of engagement in partnership with the Indian authorities and some private business proprietors particularly in the areas of Education, Health, Agriculture, and Commerce.
The Deputy Governor, thanked the Ambassador Ahmad Sule for the warm hospitality accorded him and his entourage, also called on him to prevail on his position to facilitate, establishment of bilateral agreement between Zamfara State Government and interested investors in the State economic activities.
He added that, the focus of his mission in India is in line with the State development plan being pursued by the present State Government administration under the leadership of Governor Bello Muhammad (Matawallen Maradun) adding that diversified measures are being strategized for the transformation of key sectors of the economy for sustainable development in the State.
In his response, the Nigerian ambassador to India Ambasador Ahmad Sule expressed appreciation to the Zamfara State Government and Governor Bello Matawalle for his Government initiatives to diversify other areas of economic sustainability which he described as timely.
Ambassador Ahmad Sule further reassured that as Ambassador of Nigeria to India who also oversees Japan, Bangladesh, and Sri-Lanka he is committed to exploring all avenues through his office towards an established relationship connected between Zamfara State Government and all available investors in each of the identified sectors of the economy from India and the other three countries.
