Provost FCET Gusau laments sharp drop on number of 2022 matriculated students

The Provost, Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau, Dr, Umar Bello has lamented a sharp drop over the number of 2022 matriculated students.

Dr, Umar Bello stated this during a Hausa day organized by the Department of Hausa to celebrate the Degree graduands of the  Department held at Kabir DanBaba Hall of the College.

He said that, less than 400 students were matriculated this year (2022), which was very sad compared to Katsina, Kano State Colleges of Education who matriculated more than 7000 Students this year.

Dr, Bello called on the wealthy individuals to assist the youths to further their education, considering that, some of them want to further their education but lacked financial means.

He commended the Federal Government for the construction of more classrooms, hostels and access road in the College. 

Dr, Bello thanked those who honoured the  invitation to attend the program, and prayed Allah to reward them all.

He congratulated the graduands, for the successful graduation, calling on them to be good ambassadors of the institution whereever they found themselves.

In his remarks, the Head of Hausa Department described Hausa as one of Major languages worldwide, calling on his students to put more effort to study hard in order to achieve the best results.

In their separate remarks, representatives of the Emir of Gusau and Kwatarkwashi, Dr, Ibrahim Bello, Alhaji Garba Ahmad Mai  Kwatarkwashi, expressed happiness over the program.

They also congratulated the Students for the successful graduation.

The two emirs turbaned Malan Rilwanu Muhammad, and Hajiya Nafisa Kanoma, as Sarkin Hausawa, and Sarauniyar Hausawa of Hausa Department of the College.

In their acceptance speeches, Sarkin  Hausawa, and Sarauniyar Hausawa of Hausa Department of the FCET Gusau)  Rilwanu Muhammad, and Nafisa Kanoma expressed happiness over their turbaning.


They thanked the important Personalities that, attended the program and prayed to Allah for their safe return to their respective destinations

Zamfara NSCDC Hosts Acting Provost FCET Gusau

Provost Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau, Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B. Oluwatoyin and her management team. Insecurity: Zamfara hospitals surfer brain drain - Doctor call rescue
