SENATOR NASIHA PLAG OFF DISTRIBUTION OF ASSORTED GRAINS TO THE PEOPLE OF MARADUN

Zamfara state Acting Governor Dr, Hassan Muhammad Gusau has flagg off distribution of five hundred and twenty four bags of assorted grains, provided by the state commissioner of Information Alhaji Ibrahim Magaji Disara to the people of Maradun local Government.

Speaking at the occasion held in Maradun Local Government Council Secretariat, the Acting Governor, (Dr.) Hassan Muhammad (Jarman Gusau) expressed satisfaction with the level of commitment and concern of the Hon Commissioner for complementing the State Government's effort in bringing the dividend of democracy to people at grassroots levels.

Senator Gusau explained that, this kind initiative gesture, being witnessed for the third time now as demonstrated by Hon Ibrahim Magaji Dosara are timely and would greatly support in relieving the beneficiaries of current hardship  to a great extent in view of the general plight of people with regard to the seriously economic downturn bedeviling the society at the world over.   

He added that, "this humanitarian undertaking also serves as motivation for other serious-minded political office holders not only of Maradun but the entire State to borrow a leaf"

Senator Gusau, used the medium, on behalf of the State Executive Governor Dr Bello Muhammad (Matawallen Maradun) and called on all political office holders and well-to-do individuals to emulate the positive focus of the Hon Commissioner Ibrahim Magaji Dosara, with a view to reaching out to the people at all levels.   

Earlier speaking, the  Honourable commissioner of information,  Alhaji Ibrahim Magaji Dosara(kakakin maradun) explained to the Acting Governor that this is the third trench of his program. According to him, he chooses to embark on supporting his immediate community with food materials from time to time considering the current economic situation.  

Ibrahim Dosara thanked the Acting Governor and his entourage for honouring the invitation, and wished them safe trip back to there destination.

The occasion was attended by the Chief of Staff Government House Alhaji Ibrahim Suleman, Permanent  Secretary Alhaji Aliyu Maikiyo Maradun, Hajiya A'i Maradun, Maradun Local Government Sole Administrator, Party officials, Special Adviser Alhaji Ibrahim Ma'aji, Alhaji Suleman Zumunci, among many others from different parts of Maradun Local Government Area.

Provost Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau, Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B. Oluwatoyin and her management team.
