Zamfara State Government has Commended  Alhaji Hamidu Dauran for Donation of four hectares of farmland to the authorities of Zakkat Board to Construct cemetery.

This was Contained in a Press Statement Signed by the Director General Press affairs office of the Deputy Governor,  Comrade Babangida Umar Zurmi, and available to the journalists.

According to the Statement,  Senator Hasan Muhammad Explained that, generally, the Tudun Wada area of the State Capital lacks available space in Cemetery.

Senator Hasan Muhammad thanked the Alhaji  Hamidu Daura for donated a four  hectares, to the Zakkat board to construct Cemetery, Calling on Wealthy individuals, and  politicians to emulate with Alhaji Hamidu.

Presenting the four Hectares to the Unguwar gwaza Cemetery  Committe headed by the Deputy Governor, Senator Hasan Muhammad Nasiha, the Chairman Zamfara State Zakkat and endourment board Malan Abubakar Sodangi, , said the board has unannanimousely agree to press the farm land  to the State Government.

Malam Sodangi reiterated the Board's commitment to continuous facilitation of Zakkat and Waqaf collection from the hands of individuals for onward distribution to the needy.

The Deputy Governor was accompanied at the site by Special Adviser Alhaji Sani Danjuma Dambo, Chairman and Board of Directors of Zakkat, among many others.
