Zamfara State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists has called on all people of the state to embrace peace.

This was Contained in a Press Statement  Signed by the  Secretary of Union   Comrade Ibrahim Ahmad Gada issued to the Journalists in Gusau the State Capital.

According the Statement, the Council Chairman  Comrade Ibrahim Musa Maizare made the Called  in Commemoration of 2022  International  Peace day.

The Chairman  advised working journalists in the state to remain committed in raising public awareness on the importance of peaceful living.

Comrade Maizare noted that, the theme for this year's celebration 'End Racism. Build Peace' suggests the need to end all forms of discrimination among human race, adding that, every individual should strive towards achieving a world where harmony wins over hostility.

The Chairman Explained that,  the celebration is yet another opportunity to intensify call on bandits and other criminal elements to lay down their arms and embrace peace.

Comrade Ibrahim Maizare  appealed to the general public to always promote peaceful coexistence and shun any act capable of creating violence and disharmony in the state.

The Chairman  assured that, the NUJ will continue to preach true peace through inclusiveness and cooperation among members, stressed the need for justice and unity among the society to achieve prosperity.

Zamfara NSCDC Hosts Acting Provost FCET Gusau

Provost Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau, Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B. Oluwatoyin and her management team. Insecurity: Zamfara hospitals surfer brain drain - Doctor call rescue

Dr. Aminu Abdullahi of Federal Medical Center (FMC) Gusau made the revelation in a presentation tittle "Internal Brain drain Prons  and Cons in Security Challenge state,  The presentation was made at the Annual General Meeting and Scientific Conference organised by the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) FMC Gusau Chapter, held in Gusau.
