ZMSG has assured to address Major Challenges affecting Tertiary Institution

Zamfara State Government has assuared to address all of the major challenges affecting tertiary institutions across the state. 

The state Governor,  Dr. Bello Muhammad (matawallen maradun) gave the assurance in his speech at 22nd matriculation ceremony of Zamfara college of Art and Science Gusau (ZACAS) held at school Premises.   

The State Governor who was represented by his Deputy Dr, Hassan Muhammad Gusau said, the challenges especially as it affects issues of funding, laboratories, affiliation, and accreditation, as well as upgrading and overhauling of institutional structures.  

"Our administration has already started the renovation of two ailing structures in the College. Insha Allah, they will be put to use in the current session”

The Deputy Governor congratulated the management, staff, and students for the incredible feat they have achieved so far, especially maintaining peaceful coexistence and high academic excellence. hope that they will sustain the tempo.

"I would like to assure you that, we shall continue to accord top priority to anything that, will better the lots of our people, especially education which is the bedrock of any meaningful development". He added   

He also congratulated the matriculating students for witnessing this great in their lives. I pray that, it will eventually be a source of pride to them, their parents, and the state in general.

He therefore prayed that, the College will continue to perform its duty and increase its capacity to continue to serve the purpose of its establishment.

Provost Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau, Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B. Oluwatoyin and her management team. Dr. Aminu Abdullahi of Federal Medical Center (FMC) Gusau made the revelation in a presentation tittle "Internal Brain drain Prons  and Cons in Security Challenge state,  The presentation was made at the Annual General Meeting and Scientific Conference organised by the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) FMC Gusau Chapter, held in Gusau.
