Christmas : Zamfara CP warns against use of fireworks, knock out, fire crackers.

Zamfara State Commissioner of Police CP Kolo Yusuf has banned use of fireworks, knockout and fire crackers advised parents and guardians to monitor their wards during festivities in the state.
CP kolo have Personally Lead a Patrol Along Highways and has Reassure Safety of Commuters and other Road Users.
This was Contained in a press Statement Signed by the Spoke Person of the Command SP Muhammad Shehu issued to Journalists in Gusau the State Capital.
CP Kolo assured of hitch free Christmas and New Year Celebrations,"security measures have been put in place to safeguard lives and property before, during and after the celebrations.
According to him, there was Massive deployment of the Police personnel and other security agencies to all churches, recreational centres and other vulnerable places to ensure a peaceful and hitch free Christmas and New Year celebrations in the State.
"CP Kolo Yusuf, has embarked on confidence building patrol of Major Highways, commencing from Gusau - Mafara - Sokoto road, Patrol aimed at ensuring safety and security of commuters and other road users"
He tasked Area Commanders, Tactical Commanders and DPOs to adopt same strategy in their respective Jurisdictions.
“Members of the public are warned that, sale and use of fireworks, ”knockouts and fire crackers in the State has been banned and hence parents and guardians are advised to monitor their wards to ensure they remain law abiding citizens"
"Road users are advised to be careful and vigilant while driving, and obey all traffic rules and cooperate with security agencies before, during and after the celebrations.
“The commissioner of Police on behalf of the Command felicitates with all citizens and residents of the state especially Christians community on merry Christmas and a happy New year and urged them to use the period and pray for peace and security of the state and the nation as a whole ”
