FG Donates Seed to Wheat Farmers in Zamfara

The  Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on Thursday donated seed to wheat farmers in zamfara state.

This was Contained in a press Statement sign by the Public relation officers of the Agriculture and rural development Comrade Bashir Abasiya issued to the journalists in Gusau.


The state director in charge of the FMARD office, Gusau, Prince Musa Raji launching the ceremony said it was geared towards boasting wheat cultivation during the 2022/2023 Dry season farming in some identified irrigation areas across the state.


Mr Raji urged beneficiaries to utilize the seed given to them judicious,  assured the Federal Government support and assistance to farmers in order to achieve the desired objectives.

Deputy project manager Bakolori  irrigation scheme, Mr Tukur Abdullahi and Alh Hassan kwazo, the Sarkin Noma of zamfara, on behalf of other beneficiaries expressed gratitude and appreciation to the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
