NIOB Kaduna state holds workshop on site management skills

The Nigeria institute of Building (NIOB) Kaduna state chapter, have organised a two days professional development workshop to professionals members.
The two days sensitization programme with the theme of "Essential site management skills for professional builders" which recently held at Arewa House Kaduna.
While addressing the news men during the programme, the Kaduna state chapter chairman, builder Mahmud Salihu, said "the essence is to equips our professional builders with the essential skills needed in order to carried out their professional duties".
" the idea of bringing out this importance workshop is to enlightens builders and others construction industries about the need to acquire knowledge the site management and layout planned, especially in present situations where quark's are running about claims as professional builders".
He however revealed the institute determination to engage in all aspects of the construction industry, where every one's play's their roles that's; the builders, architectures, surveyor's and engineers.
To avoid the subsequent buildings collapse, as well as to created a well structure with prepared layout plans and well designed that avoided the lost of live and property. He added.
Also interviewed with media men during the event, the assistant public relations officer state chapter NiOB, Builder Abdulkarim Mohd iliyasu, called on the clients (customers) to make sure that have always engage the professional builders while carried out their buildings.
One of the participants, Hafsat Saidu, a student from department of building Ahmadu Bello university Zaria expressed her delighted with the lectures conducted in the workshop, which enabled her to enlightened on site management skills and layout plans.
Another participant of the programme,builder Umar Ahmad, commended the state chapter for initiative, it's like uplifting the values and conduct in terms of practising the building construction.
