The Zamfara State Government has donated one million Naira to the Imam malik foundation Gusau.
While delivering his address at the graduation ceremony of Ninety Qur'anic Memorizers of Imam Malik foundation Gusau, the Zamfara State governor who was represebted by his Deputy Senator Hassan Muhammad (Jarman Gusau) expressed commendation to the founder of the foundation Shiekh Abubakar Aliyu Fari, the management and staff of the institution for their dedication to the task of grooming the students on proper recitation and memorization of the Glorious Qur'an.
The Deputy Governor also enjoined all Islamic scholars to concentrate on providing the required guidance to their students with a view of having all categories of memorizers and reciters towards enjoying the continuous shower of the light of the Holy Qur'an on humanity for sustainable peace, security and economic development to prevail.
Senator Gusau also appreciated the steadfastness of Islamic scholars in character moulding for positive mindset of the society informed the decision of Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle to host the ongoing 37th National Qur'anic recitation competition in the State, coupled with utmost priority being accorded to all Shari'ah related activities for the promotion of Islam.
while congratulating the graduating students, the Jarman Gusau, urged them to redouble efforts in furthering their education to the next level, and equally assured the management of the Foundation the readiness of the State Government to support it whenever the need arose.
He therefore, on behalf of the State Governor, donated one million naira and announced another donation of five hundred thousand naira from Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa, one hundred thousand naira from Hon Malam Aminu Jelani Gusau, and the Deputy Governor supported the organizers with two hundred and fifty thousand naira to cater for some expenses of the program.
