Governor of Zamfara state, Dr. Bello Muhammad Matawalle has pledged to create job opportunities for the teaming unemployed youth  in the state, if elected for the second time in the next general elections.

The governor made the call  while addressing large number of APC supporters during  a gubernatorial campaign rally  held in Maru, headquarters of Maru local government area of the state.

He described youth as the blood vessels and strength of the society.

Also speaking during the rally, former Zamfara state governor and the state Gubernatorial Campaign Council chairman,  Dr. Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar , said next four years will be a blessing to people in the state,  if the state governor,  Dr. Bello Muhammad Matawalle succeeds for the second time  in the forthcoming election.

Yari  noted that during the past 23 years of sterling  rule by APC,  a lot developmental  achievements were recorded in the state and more will be done if governor Dr. Bello Matawalle is given another mandate.

He called on other APC stakeholders in the state to ensure that people possess their Permanent Voter's Cards before election.

Earlier,  another APC big wig in the who represented Zamfara Central in the National Assembly, Senator Kabir Marafa disclosed that within the eight years he represented the zone, he had recorded many socio- economic development projects.

According to him, he had installed solar facilities for cemeteries both in rural areas and urban, and he introduced NHIS  scheme for 500 men and women across the state.
