ZAMFARA ZAKAT BOARD TO INTRODUCE P.O.S PAYMENT SYSTEM TO ORPHANS.

   Zamfara state Zakat and Endowment board will introduce  p.o.s (E) payment to orphans and less privileged during the Ramadan fast financial walfare distribution in the state.

  This was disclosed by the executive chairman of the board, Malan Abubakar ibn Sodangi during official meeting with the 17 Emirates members of the board  recently.

   According to him, the board decided to introduce the new system of E- payment comply with central bank's cash less national policy .

 He further noted that the board has made tangible arrangement to distribute Ramadan walfare package to 40,000 orphans and less privileged across all the 14 local government areas with a view to reduce the hardship facing orphans in the state.

   He also said that the board will streamline the data it collected to give all Emirates council by ensuring that p.o.s (e) payment has being introduced to all the Emirate council in the state.

He added that during payment in each Emirate council   the board ensure that has representative from headquarter of zakat board for the success of the exercise in the state.

   The executive chairman also said all orphans and less privileged persons registered with board will spent four and enjoy Ramadan walfare package each year.

Sodangi also said this year,  members of the board will  collect Zakat and Endowment from His Excellency Dr Bello Muhammad Matawallen Maradun and his Deputy, Sen. Hassan Muhammad Gusau,  Speaker,House of Assembly, l state executive council members, well to do individuals and philanthropists.

He said this will increase the  income of the board to enable it  perform its assignment without depending on government in the state.

  In his address during the meeting state deputy Governor,Sen. Hasan Muhammad Nasiha Gusau, has charged the committee members of the board who are responsible for screening exercise of orphans and less privileged to put fear of Allah to perform their assignment objectively.

 He tasked all board members to wake up and redouble their efforts towards improving sources of Income for development of board. i

During meeting, the deputy Governor also inauguration of the zakat calander to all people and given donation of#500,000 to board for his own copy.

In his vote of thanks the secretary of the board malan sani Hamza kaura thanked state government under the able leadership of His Excellency Dr Bello Muhammad matawale for maximum supporting given by board in oder to success in it assignment in the state.

Provost Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau, Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B. Oluwatoyin and her management team.
