2023 : NSCDC Warns officers not to Compromise with politicians in Zamfara

Zamfara state Commandant of the Nigerian Security and civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Muhammad Bello Muazu has warned men and officers of the  command not to  compromise themselves to  politicians during the elections. 

Addressing senior officers of NSCDC
In Gusau during a capacity building in preparations for the 2023 general elections,  MB Muazu urged officers and men of the command to use rules of engagement and demonstrate high level of maturity during the elections.


"We'll not use NSCDC volunteers during this  elections,  you are therefore warned you should not compromise with politicians".

MB Muazu called on officers of the command to demonstrate high level of maturity, use rules of engagement and abide by laws.

"All hands must be on deck, to make sure we perform credibly well during and after the forthcoming elections".

"The Corp shall cooperate, collaborate and partner with other security agencies for the purpose of formidable synergy to ensure that the election is peaceful, free, fair and credible, personnel are to link up with the operation room and adhered strictly to harmonize operational order to ensure among others minimum of the one person per polling booth, collation and final result declaration venters".

"I am directing you to ensure all deployed members for the conduct of election in the state should be civil not aggressive, this is for the fact that the main aim of the NSCDC is to provide conducive environment for credible elections to the extent voters must have cool and calm election"
