The independent and Major marketers of PMS products  reiterated their resolve to commence the use of Point Of Sale (POS) Machines in all filling stations in Zamfara State  as a result of the scarcity of Naira in the country.

This was Contained in a Press released signed by the Public relation officer of the Nigeria Security and civil defence corps, Ikor Oche SC.

According the Press released,  the leadership of the two oil groups stated that, in a chat with the state commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Zamfara State Command, Muhammad Bello Muazu in the state headquarter Gusau.

PRO Said  two major marketers agreed that the POS machines  will be stationed in all filling stations where customers could access in the advent of no cash at hand for the purchase of premium Motor Spirit in the state,  promised to always make the product available to all and sundry in these crucial periods.

In the same ven, the Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, Zamfara State Council, Alh. Hamisu  Kasuwar daji opined that, the Union is ever committed to ensure peace in the State,  ”NURTW will synergize with the Corps and other sister agencies to ensure that peace in the State is sustained.

Alh. Hamisu assured the general public of the resolve of the Union to commence the usage of Point Of Sale (POS) in motor parks for the purpose of payment of transportation fares  by prospective commuters.

Responding  the Zamfara State Commandant NSCDC  Muhammad Bello Muazu, Commended the stakeholders in the oil industry and transportation for their  resilient efforts in ensuring that peace is highly sustained in the state.

“Commandant Muhammad Bello Muazu however harps on the need to continuously embark on confidence building by the stakeholders to the public in order to botch any purported civil unrest by any group in the state”

“Commandant MB Muazu appealed to the stakeholders to as a matter of urgency, do all it could within their purview to ameliorate the sufferings of the good people of Zamfara State”

Provost Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau, Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B. Oluwatoyin and her management team.
