Zamfara PHC Board Organizes Seminar For Disabled Persons

Zamfara state primary health care board has organised seminar for physically challenged persons in the state.
The board in conjunction with state ministry for social walfare organised the special seminar for all Local Government leaders of physically challenged persons in order to improve the health care system of women and children in the state.
Speaking during the occasion the executive Secretary of the Board, Dr Ismail Tukur Gusau noted that it become imperative to improve the quality health care system of edisabled people. Recall that not long ago, Dr Bello Muhammad Matawallen Maradun has signed a bill to include all physically challenges person to everything concern in the state especially issue concerning health care system in the state.
He further noted that this will given l them equal opportunities with all the human with out any discrimination.
He also said, that why we invite all the leaders representative of physically challenges person to come and received the training after they come back to their various Local Government and given the same training to their followers disabled.
In the same vein, the permanent secretary state ministry for social walfare Alhaji Habib yalwa in his remarks said that this is the first time ministry and primary health care organised this wonderful training on issue of health care system for physically challenges person in the state in improve the life of disabled people especially women and children.
Dr Habib yalwa also called the beneficiaries of seminar to ensure that if they back to their local government to keep awareness to others disables who are not able to attending here.
During the seminar several lectures has been delivered on calling pregnant women to ensure that they attended ANC and also if they deliver they must taking to the hospital respectively.
In another development, during the occasion, a several gift was donated to many by pregnant women who are always use to attending ANC in their nearest hospital in the state..
