Zamfara : CP reassured the sustained and improved working synergy with all the sister security agencies to effectively curtail banditary, kidnapping, others

Zamfara State Commissioner of Police Kolo Yusuf   has reassured the sustained and improved working synergy with all the sister security agencies to effectively curtail Banditary, Kidnapping and other heinous crime bedevilling the state for over a decade.

This was Contained in a press statement signed by the Spokesperson of the Command CSP Muhammad  Shehu and made available to the truth newspaper.

According to the Statement, CP Kolo Yusuf Stated that, today when he recieved the new posted Commander 1 Brigade, Nigerian Army in a courtesy visit at the Police Command Headquarter Gusau, 

“The CP commended the complementary support of the military in internal security operations, adding that, the only solution to the prevailing security challenges is to improve and sustain the existing interagency synergy and also do away with rivalry”

The CP thanked the Brigade Commander for the timely visit and reassured him of the Command's continous partnership with the military and other stakeholders in its quest to restore lasting peace and security in the state.

Earlier in his remarks, the Brigade Commander, Brigadier General S. Ahmed commended the  resillience of the Police in Zamfara especially during the just concluded 2023 General elections, “noting that, Police being  the leading agency,  its role in internal security operations can not be over emphasized, adding that, the military is only to support the Police because of its superior firepower”

“The Commander further acknowledged the operational prowes of CP Kolo Yusuf, and called on him to document his working experiences for future reference”

“Other sensitive security issues were extensively discussed all in a bid to stem the tide of activities of criminal elements in the state”

Provost Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau, Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B. Oluwatoyin and her management team.
