Zamfara police rescued 9 kidnap children

Zamfara state police has successfully rescued nine (9) kidnap children of gora namaye village of maradun local government area of the state.

This was contained in a press released signed by the spokesperson of the command Asp Yazeed Abubakar and made available to the truth newspaper.

According to the Statement, On 3rd June, 2023 at about 2014hrs information received from the district Head of Gora Namaye  village that nine(9) Children both male and female who were sent on errand by their parents to the Bush to fetch firewood were intercepted and abducted by armed bandits.

“ On receipt of the report, nearby joint police and other security agencies mobilized to the scene and commenced search and rescue operation which resulted to rescue of the nine (9) Children and reunited them with their families unconditionally, effort are still on in tracing the hoodlums for prosecution”

Meanwhile joint police and Military patrol around the axis to disallow reoccurrence of the incident are being intensified.

FMC Gusau re-affirms Commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital

By Ibrahim Ahmad The Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Gusau on Tuesday , reaffirmed its commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital for enhanced service delivery. The Medical Director of the FMC Gusau, Dr Bello Mohammed made the re-affirmation during the inauguration of a medical  “Common room” constructed by the centre’ s branch of the Nigeria Association of Resident Doctors (NARD).
