2023 Humanitarian Day : Red cross has 800, 000 Volunteers, Staff -- Sec General

Eight hundered thousand volunteer's and staff of the Nigerian red cross society have demonstrated their commitment to alleviate and support communities suffering and saving lives at great personal risk.
This was disclosed by the Secretary General of the Nigerian red Cross society, Alhaji Abubakar gyande,represented by the Zamfara state acting chairman of Nigerian red Cross society, Alhaji usman marafa during 2023 world humanitarian day held in Gusau, Zamfara state.
Alhaji usman noted that, the theme of this year's world Humanitarian Day is“no matter what”,this encapsulates the organization's steadfast resolve to serve humanity relentlessly even in the face of adversity.
He explained that, each 19th of August,was slated to celebrate Humanitarian day in honors with the invaluable contributions of Humanitarian workers in dangerous and violent world to ensure that they alleviating suffering and promoting the well-being of those in need.
In his goodwill massage the director planing zamfara state ministry of humanitarian affairs Isah shuaibu described the celebration as welcome development to the members of the Nigerian red cross society.
He said that, the relation between the Humanitarian workers and red Cross society there is existing cordial relation.
In his their separate speeches the DG media, zamfara state ministry of humanitarian affairs Mallan bashir kabir Ahmad and Ishaq zaki Tambuwal said ,red Cross society are partner in progress and commended them for their selfless services.
Earlier on, the Branch secretary of the red cross society zamfara state Mallam Ibrahim bello said that each and every 19 of August they mark the humanitarian day in all the 36 state include abuja.
Ibrahim bello explained further that they have over 400 volunteers in the state who were rendering Humanitarian services in the state.
He commended volunteer members for their support and cooperation in the state.
