Relationship Between Muslims and Christians in Zamfara cordial ---- CAN chairman

Zamfara State Chairman of the  Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN,   Mr. Michael Tajudeen Azeez Afolabi has described the relationship between Muslims and Christians in the state as very  cordial.

Tajudeen Azeez Afolabi made this statement in an interview with the Truth Newspaper in Gusau, the state capital.

He commended Muslims  in the state for not intervening in the affairs of christians  neither disrupting them during their church services., saying further that some churches in the state are very close mosques and nothing ever happened.

The state CAN chairman  urged both  Muslims and Christians to remain in peace and harmony for progress to trump.

More so, Mr. Michael  called on people of the state to join hands together and support the state government  for it to succeed.

He further noted that he had  organized and mobilized Pastors for special prayers for full restoration of peace in  Zamfara state and Nigeria at large.
