Zamfara state chairman association of bread sellers Alhaji Yusuf Usman has disclosed that hike in the price of flour has forced many Confectionery Houses  to shutdown in the state.

Speaking in an interview the Zamfara state chairman bread sellers association who is also the north west zonal secretary Alhaji Yusuf Usman lamented the hike in the prices of the confectioneries commodities.

Yusuf Usman further lamented  that, some  of bread and confectioneries houses have  shutdown as a result of high prices of relevant bread making  materials. 

He noted that the prices the commodities have continue going high since 2016.

He appealed to the Federal Government to intervene for them to keep on with their businesses before the situation becomes completely unbearable.

He further appealed to the state government to assist the association to boost in their business.

Yusuf Usman called on people in the state to continue praying for peace and stability, stressed that, no society would develop without peace.
