Association Donates Free drugs to private clinic in Zamfara.

Zamfara state Association of youth traders has donated drugs worth over one hundred and fifty thousand naira (N150,000) to Ashifa clinic for  distribution free to less privilege persons in the state.

Ashifa Clinic is a private health center located at Firadakwaddi area in Gusau metropolis of Zamfara state.

Presenting the drugs to the head of the Clinic Mallam Muhammad Kabir Muhammad who is also vice chairman Islamic medical Association of Nigeria (IMAN), Zamfara state, the chairman youth traders Association, Alhaji Usman Isah said the essence of donating the drugs was  to assist orphan's, neediest and less privileged people in the state.

Alhaji usman revealed that the Association would continue to procure  drugs for distribution through clinics and hospitals free to less privilege persons.

"The drugs were procure with support of members who contribute regularly to support the association and it's leadership".

In his contribution the Secretary of the youth traders association Alhaji Jamilu Rabiu who double as Secretary Joint Business Association Commended the management of the clinic and IMAN  for their concern to the hospital, urged other doctors to emulate with IMAN kind assistance in the state.

He called on IMAN to utilize the drugs judiciously and further assured to provided all the necessary support and assistance to the clinic when the need arise.

He called on the state government, politicians, wealthy individuals to assist Ashifa clinic in the state.

Responding, Head of the clinic and vice chairman IMAN Muhammad kabir Muhammad, thanked the youth traders Association for the gesture, urges state government and wealthy individuals to emulate the Association in donating the drugs to the clinics.

"We as Islamic medical Association of Nigeria we decided to visit the clinic every week to attend to patients and give them drugs free, we have been doing this for over six years now through contribution from members" IMAN stressed.

He Discribed the gesture as welcome development "We have doctors from various hospitals which included Federal Medical Centre, Yariman Bakura Specialist hospital, General hospital Gusau, king fahad" he mentioned.
