The nigeria security and civil defence corps on behajf of Zamfara state commandant, Sani Mustapha  condole with the NUJ Zamfara state council over the dead of a vetran journalist Hamisu danjibga,

This was contained in a statement signed by spokesperson of command ikor oche sc, issued to the truth newspaper in Gusau the state capital.

“i wish to express our heart felt condolences and prayers to the entire body of Nigeria Union of Journalist  over the gruesome murder of a veteran and astute professional in journalism, late Hamisu Dangibga”

FMC Gusau re-affirms Commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital

By Ibrahim Ahmad The Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Gusau on Tuesday , reaffirmed its commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital for enhanced service delivery. The Medical Director of the FMC Gusau, Dr Bello Mohammed made the re-affirmation during the inauguration of a medical  “Common room” constructed by the centre’ s branch of the Nigeria Association of Resident Doctors (NARD). In a Press Statement signed by the centre’ s Public Relation Officer, Dr. Naziru Tukur and made available to newsmen, said modalities have been put in place to ensure the actualisation of the upgrade. “The Federal University Gusau (FUGUS) currently offers five accredited medical programmes, with students already in 200 level” “The centre’s management has intensified efforts in providing critical infrastructure for teaching and learning at the facility,” the statement read.
