NSCDC To Synergize with Vigilante group in Combative insecurity in Zamfara---Commandant

The Zamfara State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps  Sani Mustapha has renewed his commitment to synergize with the Vigilante Group of Nigeria  in the fight against insecurity  in the state.  

This was contained in a press statement signed by the sporksperson of the command Ikor Oche SC, issued to the truth newspaper in Gusau the state capital.

According to the statement Commandant sani Mustapha assured the leadership of the local vigilante of the readiness of the Corps to collaborate with them in the hinterlands of the state to effectively combat the insecurity that have bedeviled the State.

Th Commandant Sani Mustapha, stated this when he hosted the leadership of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria Zamfara State Chapter at the state Command of NSCDC  Gusau. He said that the Corps has recognized the importance of their contribution to the security architecture of the state and as such, the Corps is ready to accord them all the needed  support and synergy.

Commandant Sani Mustapha, averred that the Corps will leverage greatly on any intelligent information availed to the Corps by the Group.

He therefore urged them to work in a close rank with other sister agencies especially the Corps at the grass roots to root out all manners of insecurity in the state.

Meanwhile, Mr Rabiu Bawa Maru, the State Commander of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria  in Zamfara State, expressed happiness for the warm reception accorded them. 

He reiterated that the Group needs the collaborative support of the Corps to enable them function effectively at the hinterlands of the State.

Mr Bawa said the essence of the visit was to let the Corps know about the change in leadership of the Group in the State.

Mr Rabiu Bawa Maru  however  thanked the State Commandant for giving them the needed audience and assurance to work closely with the Group.

Zamfara NSCDC Hosts Acting Provost FCET Gusau

Provost Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau, Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B. Oluwatoyin and her management team. Insecurity: Zamfara hospitals surfer brain drain - Doctor call rescue
