Small Scale traders Association gives Palliatives to 238 Households in Zamfara.

The Zamfara state Chairman small scale traders Association Alhaji Usman Isah samaila has disclosed that the association has distributed palliatives to 238 house hold across the state.

Alhaji Usman disclosed the gesture  shortly after the formal distribution of the palliatives in Gusau, the state capital.

"The distribution of palliatives was part of the association effort to assist  people in reducing hardship as a result of subsidy removal, I therefore called on  beneficiaries of the palliatives to use it judiciously not to dispose the items for sale"

According to the chairman, items distribute as palliatives included rice,  spaghetti, indomie, macrony and other food items.

He maintained that the distribution of palliatives was not the first time," Sometimes we gave food assistance to 400 to 1000 Almajiris every week for the past four years in the state".

The small scale traders chairman explained further that means of the gesture were source within the member of the association.

He called on members to support and cooperate with the association leadership for more development, assures that they will justify the confidence repose on them and promised to carry every one alone.

“Our plan of action is to procure drugs for distribution to patients at hospital  free across the state”

In their separate speeches the chairman Joint business Association Alhaji Muhammad zubairu and secretary Youth small Scale traders association, Secretary Joint business association, Jamilu Rabiu said the essence of distributing the package was to assist people of the state, to reduce their hardship.

They both called on wealthy individuals, Business organizations and emulate the association in given out the gesture to people in the state.

They advised people in the state to continue praying for peace stability and development of the state, added that "No society would develop without peace". They stressed.
