Parents of the abducted students of federal university gusau have been call open to be more patient as authorities were doing everything possible to rescue remaining students still in captivity.

This was made known by the vice chancellor of the university professor Muazu Abubakar Gusau in an interview with journalist in his office shortly after receiving Zamfara state governor who paid sympathy visit at the institutions over abduction of students.

Professor Muazu Abubakar, revealed that 12 students of the institution and nine construction workers were still in bandits’ captivity.

According to him, six students were rescued, and nine others escaped from the bandits, leaving the remaining 21 kidnap victims in captivity.

He further explained that, the University authorities were in touch with the parents of the victims as efforts were being made by security agents to rescue the remaining students.

The Vice Chancellor urged the parents to be more patient as security agents were doing their best to get the victims freed and to intensity prayers for safe return of their children.

It could be recalled that bandits Storm the university and abducted some female students in their off campus hostels at sabon gida area.
