Gusau versity : Students to relocate to Sabon gida, Gusau---Management

The Management of federal University Gusau urges the students to either relocate to Sabon gida which is now well secured with armed security operatives or stay within Gusau metropolis, ”this is because they are more vulnerable to bandit attacks when living at the outskirts especially, Damba”

In a press release sign by the spokesperson of institution, Umar Usman issued to the truth newspaper in Gusau the state capital.

Umar usman narrated that, the troops of the Operation Hadarin Daji  and Metro Joint Patrol (Eagle Eye) have successfully rescued all the four (4) kidnapped students of Federal University Gusau who were abducted Saturday, 14th October, 2023 at Sabon Garin Damba Area, Gusau, Zamfara State. 

Umar usman explained that, the incident took place at about 08:00pm where four students were abducted at their rented apartment at an outskirt of Damba, an area close to Gusau, the State capital. 

“Two out of the four kidnapped students escaped after they were abducted while the remaining two were rescued after a heavy gun duel between the troops and the bandits” Umar usman said.

Provost Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau, Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B. Oluwatoyin and her management team. Insecurity: Zamfara hospitals surfer brain drain - Doctor call rescue

Dr. Aminu Abdullahi of Federal Medical Center (FMC) Gusau made the revelation in a presentation tittle "Internal Brain drain Prons  and Cons in Security Challenge state,  The presentation was made at the Annual General Meeting and Scientific Conference organised by the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) FMC Gusau Chapter, held in Gusau.
