     Selection of community protection guards (cpg) in the zamfara state will be on behavioral attitudes and character not ethnicity or politicking.

    This was disclosed by the state chairman steering committee for the establishment of community protection guards (CPG) and also  state Deputy Governor, Malam Mani Mummuni while answering questions to the press men in his office.

   He said, the committee has start commencements of the activities giving to him due to the time frame is very short.

  He added that, the state Governor give them 30 days as time frame in which they select and screen the people that are willing to do the job.

   The Deputy Governor lamented that, the zamfara state government will support the guard's with all necessary working farcilities needed in discharging their duties.

   He also elaborated that, the guards will support and assist the security personnel in the state to see all the banditry activities become history.

   He called on good people of the country to continue praying in restoring peace in the state and country at large.

   He therefore thanked the state Governor Dauda Lawal for his effort in rescue the state and also lift state to the next level of development.
